Robinson's Hannibal's Nectar

This beer sampled at: The Three John Scotts, Lowgate, Hull

BREWED BY: Frederic Robinsons, Unicorn Brewery, Stockport, Cheshire, SK1 1JJ www.frederic-robinson.co.uk
AVAILABILITY: Seasonal: only available during February/March
ALCOHOL BY VOLUME: 3.9% (1 pint = 2.2 UK units)
APPEARANCE: Ruby coloured with a cream coloured marbled head.
FLAVOUR: A rich and powerful flavour that belies it's alcoholic content. A flavour of port wine is dominant, complimented by the medium hoppy bitterness. Background flavours of raisins and dates are also present.
APPEAL: FREQUENT. A brew full of surprises. Would be REGULAR if not for the availability.
