Jennings Cocker Hoop

This beer sampled at: The Duke of Cumberland, Market Green, Cottingham

BREWED BY: Jennings Brewery, Castle Brewery, Cockermouth, Cumbria CA13 9NE
AVAILABILITY: Generally available, year-round.
ALCOHOL BY VOLUME: 4.6% (1 pint = 2.6 UK units)
APPEARANCE: Light golden, with a creamy white head.
FLAVOUR: Quite heavily hopped; bitter, but with a citrus background flavour. The bitterness lacks any kind of sharpness, instead providing a gentle dryness that makes this a very smooth, easily drinkable bitter.
APPEAL: REGULAR. Smooth, dry and fruity.
