Wentworth Bumble Beer

This beer sampled at: The Three John Scotts, Lowgate, Hull

BREWED BY: Wentworth Brewery, The Power House Gun Park, Wentworth, Rotherham, South Yorkshire S62 7TF www.wentworthbrewery.co.uk
AVAILABILITY: Generally available, year round.
ALCOHOL BY VOLUME: 4.3% (1 pint = 2.4 UK units)
APPEARANCE: Golden in colour, with a white, bubbly head.
FLAVOUR: A nice balance of citrus bitterness with smooth, but solid sweetness. There's a fruity tang left on the palate. This ale is supposedly brewed with seasonal honey, though it's a little disappointing that there's no trace of honey flavour nor aroma.
APPEAL: FREQUENT. Very refreshing without being overly sharp or bitter.
